this masala has a robust flavour which goes well with meat or fried and braised foods. Try sprinkled on fried potatoes, or yoghurt, sour cream and curd cheeses

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup black pepper
  • 6 tablespoons dark caraway seeds
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup coriander seeds
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons ground cloves
  • 2 tablespoons cardamom seeds

Directions
  1. dry fry the coriander seeds for 3-5 min, ov er low heat, shake constantly do not let burn
  2. place all ing in a blender or mortar and pestle and grind ( do not grind too finely)
  3. store in an air tight container
