Macadamia-Oat Snowballs

- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup sifted confectioners' sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 2 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 3/4 cup quick-cooking oats, uncooked shopping list
- 1 (3 1/2-ounce) jar macadamia nuts, chopped shopping list
- confectioners' sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until soft and creamy; gradually add ½ cup confectioners' sugar, beating well.
- Add vanilla and flour, mixing well.
- Stir in oats and chopped nuts.
- Shape into 1-inch balls.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes.
- Remove from pan.
- Roll balls in confectioners' sugar and cool on wire racks.
- Makes 4 dozen.
