Chicken with White Wine and Mushroom Gravy

- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts shopping list
- 1 sm can of condensed golden mushroom soup shopping list
- 1/2 c. white cooking wine shopping list
- 3/4 c. chicken broth or stock shopping list
- 1/8 c. butter softened shopping list
- 4 oz. softened cream cheese shopping list
- 1 sm onion diced shopping list
- 3 cloves of garlic minced shopping list
- olive or grapeseed oil shopping list
- pepper shopping list
- penne pasta-enough for 4 servings shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat
- Add onions and saute until soft
- Add garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes
- Put onions and garlic in a bowl and set aside
- Turn heat up to med-high
- Add oil to coat bottom of the pan
- Brown both sides of the chicken
- Place chicken in a 9x13 pan
- Deglaze the skillet with the wine and broth
- Add soup and onion mixture
- Stir until smooth
- Add cream cheese and stir until smooth and creamy
- Pour over chicken and place in the oven
- Cook for 30-35 minutes
- While chicken is cooking prepare pasta according to directions
- Serve chicken over pasta
