Peppermint Cloud Brownies

- 8Tbs unsalted butter,plus more for pan shopping list
- 2oz. semi-sweet chocolate shopping list
- 1/2c unsweetened cocoa shopping list
- 3/4c packed light-brown sugar shopping list
- 2 lg eggs shopping list
- 1/2c all purpose flour shopping list
- 1/4tsp salt shopping list
- 2/3c chopped pecans shopping list
- 1/3c milk shopping list
- 1tsp vanilla extract shopping list
- 11/3c mini marshmallows shopping list
- 3Tbs crushed peppermint sticks shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 350. Butter 8" square pan and line with piece of parchment overhanging on 2 sides. Butter parchment;set aside.
- In a saucepan,melt butter,chocolate and cocoa on low heat,stirring till smooth. Remove from heat and stir in sugar,eggs,flour,salt,nuts,milk, and vanilla till combined.
- Spread batter into prepared pan. Bake till just set,20 mins. Remove from oven,top with marshmallows and bake till marshmallows are puffed,another 5 mins.
- Immediately sprinkle with peppermint. Cool in pan.
- Loosen edges and lift brownies from pan using parchment. Use a buttered knife to cut into squares. Store airtight up to 1 day.
