Blond Brownie Caramel Cups

- Brownie Cups shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 1 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped shopping list
- Topping shopping list
- 20 caramels shopping list
- 1 tbls. water shopping list
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips, semi sweet shopping list
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350
- Line 16 muffin cups with paper baking cups
- Melt butter in saucepan
- Remove form heat
- Stir in brown sugar
- Add vanilla and egg then beat well
- Stir in 1/2 cup pecans
- Divide batter evenly into muffin cups
- Bake 16-20 minutes or until golden brown
- In saucepan, melt caramel with water over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth
- As soon as you take cakes out of oven, put chocolate chips evenly into middle of each cup
- Spoon 1 tbls. of caramel over chocolate chips
- Sprinkle pecans over caramel topping
- Cool completely

It seems like the hardest thing about this recipe is unwrapping the caramels! I start unwrapping then I eat them......guess I gotta work on that so I can have some for these. High 5!!
