Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Line 16 muffin cups with paper baking cups
  • Melt butter in saucepan
  • Remove form heat
  • Stir in brown sugar
  • Add vanilla and egg then beat well
  • Stir in 1/2 cup pecans
  • Divide batter evenly into muffin cups
  • Bake 16-20 minutes or until golden brown
  • In saucepan, melt caramel with water over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth
  • As soon as you take cakes out of oven, put chocolate chips evenly into middle of each cup
  • Spoon 1 tbls. of caramel over chocolate chips
  • Sprinkle pecans over caramel topping
  • Cool completely

    It seems like the hardest thing about this recipe is unwrapping the caramels! I start unwrapping then I eat them......guess I gotta work on that so I can have some for these. High 5!!
