Chicken And Biscuits Casserole Recipe
While paging thru a casserole recipe book that has been laying around and I found this delicious recipe. So good my daughter tried it an wants to do it again this week.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 4 boneless,skinless chicken breasts, cut up into chunks
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 1/2 t. thyme leaves
  • 1/2 t. paprika
  • pepper
  • 1 14 oz can of chicken broth divided
  • 1/3 cup of flour. ( I add a little more as I like a thicker gravy)
  • 1 10 oz package of peas and carrots
  • 1 can of pillsbury biscuits.. (I use Pillsbury grand homemade style)

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Melt butter in large skillet.
  3. Add chicken, onion and seasonings.
  4. Cook five minutes.
  5. Or till chicken is brown.
  6. Combine 1/4 cup of broth with flour and set aside/
  7. Put remaining broth in skillet and bring to boil.
  8. Slowly add broth and flour mixture, stirring to prevent lumps.
  9. Simmer for five minutes.
  10. Add vegetables and simmer for two minutes.
  11. Transfer to casserole dish (2qt) and add biscuits.
  12. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until biscuits are brown.
