How to make it

  • Process the onion with all but the meat.
  • Add to meat and mix thoroughly with wet hands.
  • Roll teaspoonfuls into balls with wet hands,
  • Place on a oiled baking tray and bake at 180˚C for 20 minutes - swapping over trays if more than one is used.
  • Serve with a squeeze of lemon and a sprinkle of finely chopped coriander if liked.
  • Notes:
  • Can be added to casseroles or served with hot cooked vegetables, chickpea curry or in pilaffs.
