SOUR CREAM RAISIN PIE DATED 1969 This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Van Meter Estate in Quinlan, Texas in 1992.
Ingredients
- 9” pie crust shopping list
- 1 cup raisins shopping list
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg shopping list
- 1 cup sour cream shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all ingredients together and pour into pie shell then bake at 375 for 45 minutes.
- Cool completely then serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
