Open-Faced Plum Tart

- 1(9")store-bought round pie crust shopping list
- 1/4c fig jam shopping list
- 1 lb. plums,cut in 1/4" wedges shopping list
- 1 egg plus 1 Tbs. water,whisked for egg wash shopping list
- 1/2c sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 425.
- Remove pie crust from refrigerator 10 mins before using to soften slightly. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Unfold pie crust onto baking sheet. Spread fig jam on crust leaving 2" border around the edges. Place plums on top of jam. Fold edges over leaving center exposed and press slightly to seal. Brush outside of pie dough with egg wash and sprinle sugar over all.
- Bake till dough is cooked through and golden,about 45 mins.
- Serve warm with ice cream.
