How to make it

  • Place bread cubes in a lightly greased 11 x 7 x 1 1/2 inch baking dish.
  • Stir together remaining ingredients, and gently fold into bread cube mixture.
  • Bake at 350 F for 50-60 minutes or until set. Serve with whipped cream if desired.

    I love the idea of this, but I don't really like pumpkin. It's on my list to try this fall but I'll more than likely be trying this with a different winter squash variety or sweet potato.

    You're welcome. If you sprinkle sugar (especially coarse sugar) on top before baking you get a lovely, sparklely, crunchy top too.
