How to make it

  • Heat a griddle over medium heat.
  • In a bowl or large measuring cup, combine all the ingredients, mixing gently.
  • Grease the griddle and ladle 3-4 dollops into it.
  • When the batter has air holes peaking through, flip the cakes over.
  • When the steam is mostly gone, they should be ready.

    Nice little pancakes. I used a grape sourdough starter I was experimenting with and I cut the recipe in half. I did add a couple of tablespoons of wheat flour. 9/13/14

    Depending on the size you make them, you can get anywhere from 4 "diner-size" to 8-10 silver dollar ones.
