Red Lentil Cakes

- 1 cup of cracked wheat (bulgur) shopping list
- 2 cups of red lentil shopping list
- 4 cups of water shopping list
- 2 teaspoons salt shopping list
- 2 teaspoons paprika shopping list
- 5 teaspoons cumin shopping list
- 1 bunch of green onion shopping list
- 1 bunch of parsley shopping list
- 4 teaspoons tomato paste shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1 onion shopping list
How to make it
- Chop the onion into small pieces and cook until it becomes soft with the butter. Add tomato paste and remove from heat.
- On the other hand, boil the red lentils with 4 cups of water. After they become yellowish, soft and absorb the water, remove from heat and mix with cracked wheat. Wait 15 mins.
- Chop the green parts of the parsley and the green onions and add to the lentil mix. Add all the other ingredients (tomato paste and spices) and mix.
- Take a table spoon from the mix and roll it into a cylindric shape but not too thin, Make all the mix this way. If you like, you can put a little bit lemon juice when serving.
