Ingredients

How to make it

  • Place brown sugar and corn syrup in medium saucepan and melt over medium heat until boiling.
  • Cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly or it will burn.
  • Add hot water, pepper sauce, cinnamon and vinegar. Stir all ingredients together well and continue cooking at a low boil, stirring often until mixture has reduced to a syrupy consistency (about 15 minutes).
  • The sauce will thicken considerably as it cools.

When I go to a new sauce for ribs or chicken, I expect to find the same five ingredients. This wings sauce of yours sounds different and very inviting. I'll print it right now, but truthfully, I probably won't make it until the snow melts off the deck. Great post. Thanks.
