Snow Biscuits

Delightfully light textured raised biscuit. Very buttery.
Ingredients
- 1 pkg yeast shopping list
- 3/4 cup of lukewarm water shopping list
- 2 teaspoons of melted shortning shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon of salt shopping list
- 2 cups of sifted A.P. flour shopping list
- melted butter shopping list
How to make it
- Mix first five ingredients.
- Add 2 cups of sifted flour.
- Turn out onto floured board and pat into a square, 1/2 thick.
- Cut into squares.
- Dip ino melted butter.
- Let rise one hour.
- Bake at 425 degress for 12 minutes.
