How to make it

  • In a large Dutch oven, melt butter; add chicken and cook until chicken is almost done.
  • Add sausage, onion, celery, bell pepper and garlic.
  • Cook, stirring often, until sausage takes on some color and the vegetables are tender.
  • Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, bay leaves and seasoning.
  • Pour in chicken stock.
  • Bring mixture to boil; reduce heat and simmer 30 to 45 minutes. Serve over hot rice.

    OMG!!! 10 Forks! I made this exactly as written! I couldn't find Chef Prudhommes's seasoning so I used a different brand, but it worked fine! I love the taste of the kielbasa in combination with the chicken. It gave the entire dish a nice smokey flavor. I'm so glad I tried this recipe! Thanks Sparow and Miss Olivia!
