Lucious Strawberry Coconut Pecan Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1 box white cake mix

1-3 oz. box strawberry flavor jello

1 C. veg. oil

1/2 C. water

4 eggs

1 3/4 C. frozen strawberries, thawed and mashed

1 C. coconut

1 C. chopped pecans

10 fresh strawberries

Cool Whip

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F

Mix first 5 ingredients well.

Add the mashed strawberries, mix well again.

Add coconut and pecans and mix well again.

Pour evenly into 3-9 inch pans that have been sprayed with cooking spray and then put in a sheet of wax paper that has been cut to fit the bottom of the pan.

Bake for 30 mins then reduce heat to 325°F and cook for 5 minutes more.

Lightly touch center of cake and if it springs back it is done.

Set pans on a wire rack to cool.

When cool frost with the Lucious Strawberry Coconut Pecan Frosting between the layers and on the sides. Top with sliced fresh strawberries and cool whip.
