How to make it

  • Mix corn syrup and peanut butter thoroughly.
  • Add cocoa cereal and stir until well coated.
  • Press mixture into the bottom of a buttered 9 x 13 pan and place in freezer or coldest part of the refrigerator until firm.
  • Cut in half and lay 1/2 inch thick slices of ice cream on one half of the cereal.
  • (It is much easier to slice ice cream in brick form by peeling off the cardboard carton).
  • Cover with the other half of the krispie mix to make a "sandwich".
  • Cover and freeze.
  • Slice into squares to serve.

Man, this sounds makes me think of eating ice cream on a hot summer night, even though it's 8 degrees here!!!! Thanks, notcho - another one for the Make It file...Krum
