Crunchy Ice Cream Bars

Serves six big servings-crunchy crispy ice cream bars, vary the ice cream flavors to suit your tastes.

Mix corn syrup and peanut butter thoroughly.
Add cocoa cereal and stir until well coated.
Press mixture into the bottom of a buttered 9 x 13 pan and place in freezer or coldest part of the refrigerator until firm.
Cut in half and lay 1/2 inch thick slices of ice cream on one half of the cereal.
(It is much easier to slice ice cream in brick form by peeling off the cardboard carton).
Cover with the other half of the krispie mix to make a "sandwich".
Cover and freeze.
Slice into squares to serve.

Oh how good is this? Peanut butter rice crispy treats sandwiched inbetween, oh let's see...BR Chocolate Peanut Butter Chunk ice cream, B&J Chunky Monkey, or how about some plain old vanilla? Man, this sounds tempting...it makes me think of eating ice cream on a hot summer night, even though it's 8 degrees here!!!! Thanks, notcho - another one for the Make It file...Krum
