Crunchy Ice Cream Bars
From notyourmomma 15 years agoIngredients
- 1/2 cup of peanut butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup of light Karo corn syrup shopping list
- 4 cups of cocoa krispie cereal shopping list
- 1 pint brick style ice cream, your favorite flavor shopping list
How to make it
- Mix corn syrup and peanut butter thoroughly.
- Add cocoa cereal and stir until well coated.
- Press mixture into the bottom of a buttered 9 x 13 pan and place in freezer or coldest part of the refrigerator until firm.
- Cut in half and lay 1/2 inch thick slices of ice cream on one half of the cereal.
- (It is much easier to slice ice cream in brick form by peeling off the cardboard carton).
- Cover with the other half of the krispie mix to make a "sandwich".
- Cover and freeze.
- Slice into squares to serve.
