The taste of two worlds, thin sliced pastrami and tasty egg salad. It became a Deli "daily" special. When all the ingredients come together it's just delicious.

JJ, well I made the sandwich. Aside from my eye twitching because you were SO PRECISE on your instructions, I loved it!!! I did everything to the letter BUT now I have a question for you. You said to put mayo and a little mustard on the bread. I was hoping that meant both slices. The egg salad already is made with both and gets slathered edge to edge. Since you were so precise because of flavor and texture, I thought I would ask. Your the BEST, thank you! :D

Ok, sorry about the "precise" part but I want it to be the best for you. Yes both sides of the bread. Hope you added a couple of rings of very thin sliced onion on the sandwich. I have edited the recipe to say "Shaved" lettuce, It really is the best with very thin sliced lettuce. Is a great experience biting into and chewing this mix. So glad you enjoyed. You think this is precise wait until you see my Ultimate BLT. I have the pics, it just will take a bit to put the text together and organize the pics. I did pork chops tonight June 22. Oh man they are so good off the grill. Chop pics and recipe soon. Chew on. JJ

Oh man, your pictures are going to become a full time job. Glad your obsessed, because I am totally making out with these great recipes. I have to admit that nothing is better than having follow-along pictures to make sure I am still on track. It also makes the recipe VERY inviting to want to jump in and try. Your the BEST JJ
P.S. I was chuckling while typing that you were sooo precise. It is pretty hard to pick up on the chuckling part when reading. Okay, gotta go pick up my niece now, wash machine just arrived so I am allowed to leave the house. SWEET!

Dang straight!!! Yeah, all the stuff makes your taste buds go crazy with delight. I tell you what, everyday there is someone older and younger than me in the obituaries in the paper. Since I was not given my date of departure at birth, another on of those surpise things to spring on us, I will enjoy eating during this lifetime, and this incredible sandwich is one thing I will eat often. Time may be short, try it, Mickey likes it.Best JJ
