BACON AND CHEESE STICKS Recipe

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 325°
  • Stir together cheese, bacon, mayo, onion flakes and celery salt.
  • Spread over bread slices.
  • Cut each bread slice into 3 strips.
  • Place on greased cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes.

    Oh lord, boy, do I love bacon! Anything with cheese, bacon, and mayo must be good, and definitely rich! I'm sure these taste wonderful, but I would try to cut out some of the saturated fats and use whole wheat bread, or even spelt with flax. Granted, making these few changes makes it 'healthier'... but, really, when you've got the great flavor of bacon...easing up on mayo, and going light instead of full, or reduced fat cheese, etc... really doesn't make that much of a difference. You will still taste all the flavor. The Bacon makes the appetizer. What do you think?
