Pineapple Casserole Dessert

Sal at allrecipes tells us that her son actually made this himself without her even knowing... it's a family dessert staple to this day. I might not drain the pineapple to keep some moisture. This dish could also serve as a side to baked ham!
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter shopping list
- 1 2/3 cups white sugar shopping list
- 6 eggs shopping list
- 15 ounce can crushed pineapple, drained shopping list
- 9 slices bread, cubed shopping list
- 1/3 cup cheddar cheese, shredded shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
- Cream together the butter ans sugar.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
- Fold in pineapple and bread cubes.
- Pour into a 13x9" baking dish.
- Bake for 1 hour OR until center springs back when touched.
- Remove from oven.
- Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese.
- Return to oven to melt cheese, 2 to 5 minutes.
