Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil.
  • Toss the shrimp in the oil to gently coat them.
  • Spread the shrimp in a single layer and sprinkle on the salt and pepper.
  • Roast for nine minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool
  • Meanwhile, mix all of the sauce ingredients topgether.
  • Serve as a dipping sauce with the shrimp.
  • **Note: nope, do not bother to turn them halfway. Do not open the oven nor interrupt their roasting time, that might through this delicate food's cooking time off.

I had these shrimp at a party and they were delicious. They were tender and had such a fresh taste. The hostess assured me that they were very easy to do. I just came in this site to check the oven temp and time as my shrimp are waiting in the kitchen to be roasted. They are wonderful.

I've recently become a huge fan of Ina Garten. I just love her style. Some of her recipes are a little on the "heavy" side, but sifting through them are many I would make. Her cooking is approachable and I'm learning so much. On her website you can watch her videos and I recently ordered four of her cooking books! A bit of a splurge during these hard economic times. She's inspirational. I just learned how to make (and correctly pronounce) Creme Fraiche! I'm thrilled.

PS I love it when she says, "Be sure and use a good mayonnaise." My husband said, "She's my kind of gal!"

That does sound like a delicious dipping sauce. OK, you've convinced me - I have to go pick up some shrimp this weekend while the kids/grandkids are here and make some for us.
