Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  • Heat brown sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium heat until sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Add figs and cook until softened, about 10 minutes.
  • Stir in almonds and vanilla extract.
  • Place Brie wheel in a baking dish.
  • Pour fig mixture over top.
  • Bake for 10 to 15 minutes OR until softened but not melted.
  • Serve with crackers.

    I 'm a fig lover from way back, krum! I have no luck growing them but I pay the price for them when our little Italian grocery has the fresh ones in stock. Enjoy this one, my friend.
