How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Combine dry ingredients and blend.
  • In separate bowl, toss 1 tbs. of dry ingredients with cherries.
  • In a large bowl, mix butter, milk, eggs and vanilla. Then add dry ingredients and stir until well moistened. Stir in cherries.
  • Spoon batter into muffin tins to about 3/4 full and sprinkle with topping mixture. Bake at 425 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Makes about 2 dozen muffins.
  • Optional topping - sprinkle with suger.
