Lemon Crunch Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups milk

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon grated lemon peel

2 egg whites

2 tablespoon sugar

1 cup whipping cream

1/2 cup crushed lemon drops or peanut brittle

Directions

Combine first 4 ingredients then freeze until firm.

Beat egg whites to a meringue with sugar then whip whipping cream.

Remove frozen mixture to a chilled bowl then beat until fluffy.

Fold in meringue and whipped cream then add lemon drops or peanut brittle.

Return to tray then freeze to ice cream consistency.
