Lemon Crunch Ice Cream

LEMON CRUNCH ICE CREAM This is a recipe I obtained from an Estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Cougar Estate in Richardson, Texas in 2006.
Ingredients
- 2 cups milk shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel shopping list
- 2 egg whites shopping list
- 2 tablespoon sugar shopping list
- 1 cup whipping cream shopping list
- 1/2 cup crushed lemon drops or peanut brittle shopping list
How to make it
- Combine first 4 ingredients then freeze until firm.
- Beat egg whites to a meringue with sugar then whip whipping cream.
- Remove frozen mixture to a chilled bowl then beat until fluffy.
- Fold in meringue and whipped cream then add lemon drops or peanut brittle.
- Return to tray then freeze to ice cream consistency.

WOW what an icecream. I can't imagine it with anything but lemon drops though. I'll definately be buying some lemon drops at the store so I can make it real soon. Thanks for a delicious recipe. 555555+++++
