How to make it

  • Combine first 5 ingredients and 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese; spoon mixture into a lightly greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish.
  • Bake at 350F for 40 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, and bake 5 more minutes.
  • For Hash Brown-Ham-Cheese Bake, stir in 2 cups chopped cooked ham.
  • Yield: 6 to 8 servings.

    Nice recipe and very easy too! I saw a recipe that was very similar to this that had 1/2 cup of butter in it! I'm sure glad yours doesn't have it in there. I didn't think the recipe needed all that fat!

    When Friday's at the Pittsburgh airport use to serve breakfast, they had the very best hash-browns I have ever had, I tried and could never duplicate it. I think this is it with the cream of celery, parmesan and pimentos. Thank you so much for the great post..........:)
