My sister use to some time make her potatoe salad similar to this. She always made good potatoe salad. I love this as much as I love dessert. It's really my down fall. Thanks for sharing the recipe, you have my 5.

Oh Henrie! I could eat potato salad like crazy. We should call it "potato crack!" Marinating the potatoes like this would give them a great texture and a bit of a sweet "tang" too. Lovely stuff here. I might add some celery...--Kn0x--

Love the vinegar addition here, this almost makes it sound like a German potato salad! 5 forks, thanks!

This looks really good, Pat! Mom husband loves potato salad. I have sprinkled a little oil and vinegar over the warm potatoes as well as salt and pepper while they are still, but then I add eggs, green onion, green olives, mayo, etc. Never have put sugar in it...guess it would be a combo of German and American potato salad...will cut this recipe down and try it soon!

Sounds wonderful! I have never tried sugar in potato salad and I have tried it, many, many ways. So this is a must try this weekend.

Sounds quite different from how I make potato salad, but sounds very good! Will have to try it soon--I think I'll try making about 1/4 the recipe. One question, though? Directions say to slice the potatoes, nothing about peeling. Do you leave the peels on or do you peel them before or after cooking? Thanks!
