Easy Cherry Chocolate Ice Cream

Thinking warm weather soon..... Loving, Ben and Jerries Cherry Choclate Garcia ice cream? There are quite a few recipes on the Net to make this home made ice cream. But for an easy and quick version, buy a premium brand of vanilla ice cream, and mix in the cherries and chocolate yourself.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup shaved or rough chopped semi-sweet chocolate bars shopping list
- 1/4 cup fresh bing cherries, halved and pitted fresh or well drained canned , or use another type of pitted sweet cherry, black or red. shopping list
- vanilla or Cherry ice cream shopping list
- optional nuts: toasted pecans shopping list
How to make it
- Mix the chocolate and cherries together.
- Increase quantities as desired for the amount of ice cream its to be mixed into.
- Blend mixture into partially softened ice cream and freeze solid again
- Note: add in your options such as chopped toasted nuts, mini marshmallows etc
