Italian Sausage Soup

- 1/2 lb bulk sweet Italian sausage shopping list
- 2/3 cup long-grain white rice shopping list
- 6 cups low-sodium or regular beef broth shopping list
- 1(15 oz) can navy beans, rinsed and drained1(15 oz) can diced tomatoes shopping list
- 1/4 teas ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 (10oz) box frozen chopped spinach, thawed, drained and squeezed dry shopping list
How to make it
- Cook sausage over medium heat in a soup pot until the meat is browned and crumbly
- Drain excess fat
- Add rice,broth,tomatoes and pepper to pot
- Bring to a simmer
- Cover and cook 12 to 15 minutes or until rice is tender
- Stir in spinach; let simmer for a few minutes
