Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast

this is a wonderful way to have coffee on a saturday morning
Ingredients
- 1 cup ricotta cheese shopping list
- 3 Tbsps powdered sugar shopping list
- 1 Tbsp vanilla extract shopping list
- 16 diagonal slices (1/3 inch) French or Italian bread shopping list
- 2 large eggs shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- l 1/2 Tbsps butter shopping list
- 2 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced shopping list
- strawberry syrup shopping list
How to make it
- Stir together ricotta cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread 8 bread slices with mixture and top with remaining slices, as with a sandwich. Mix together beaten eggs, and milk. Melt butter in frying pan over medium to medium-high heat. Dip ricotta sandwiches in egg mixture. Fry until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes in all. Remove onto plate and garnish with strawberries. Top with syrup.

Okay, I am eating the strawberry cheesecake French Toast while writing this and I have to tell you it is wonderful!! Thank you for a great post...I am truly enjoying it :D P.S.-I wonder what would happen if the ricotta was changed to cream cheese?
