Raisin Casserole Bread Recipe

This is an incredible bread recipe bursting with raisin flavor. Enjoy

Ingredients
- 4 cups sifted all purpose flour
- 1-1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 1-1/4 cups raisins placed in water and boiled for 5 minutes and drained
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 2 eggs slightly beaten
- 1-1/2 cups buttermilk
Directions
- Combine flour, salt, baking soda, sugar and raisins by hand.
- Add margarine, eggs and buttermilk then mix by hand only until ingredients are moist.
- Spoon into two greased bread loaf pans then bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
