Raisin Casserole Bread

- 4 cups sifted all purpose flour shopping list
- 1-1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda shopping list
- 3/4 cup dark brown sugar shopping list
- 1-1/4 cups raisins placed in water and boiled for 5 minutes and drained shopping list
- 2 tablespoons margarine shopping list
- 2 eggs slightly beaten shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups buttermilk shopping list
How to make it
- Combine flour, salt, baking soda, sugar and raisins by hand.
- Add margarine, eggs and buttermilk then mix by hand only until ingredients are moist.
- Spoon into two greased bread loaf pans then bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
