Chinese Chicken Pasta Recipe
This is one of my favorite summer dishes. I love the cabbage! Enjoy.

Ingredients
  • 12 ounces dried wide chinese noodles or fettuccine
  • 1/4 cup peanut oil
  • 1 pound boneless chicken breast, skinned and cut into strips
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1 tsp. fresh minced ginger
  • 1/2 small head green cabbage, shredded ( about 4 cups)
  • 2 bunches sliced green onions
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 2 med shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup oyster flavored sauce( can be found in Chinese section of food stores)
  • 2 tbs. soy sauce

Directions
  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  2. Add salt and noodles.
  3. Cook until tender but still firm.
  4. Drain well and transfer to a large bowl.
  5. Add oil to wok and heat until hot.
  6. Add chicken, garlic, and ginger.
  7. Stir-fry 5 minutes, or until chicken is opaque.
  8. Add cabbage, green onions, onion, carrots, oyster sauce and soy sauce.
  9. Stir fry several minutes more.
  10. Combine with noodles to blend the flavores and serve immediately.
