I am liking the sound of this recipe =D

Loraine,
This sounds like a great recipe. Bacon, onions and green beans a wonderful combination of flavors.

Great, Loraine!! FIVE :+D

I always cook my green beans with bacon, it gives them a smokey flavor, of course I can always take something healthy and add calories, it is a curse. This sounds better adding the bacon but not the fat, thanks for a great post!

Wonderful post. I love green beans and the addition of bacon makes this incredible. You have my 5.

You guys! My Italian grandmother used to make this with the addition of potatoes.. a dish to die for, for sure. Thanks for liking this one!

Another favorite of mine that I dearly love. I almost, always cook my greenbeans this way, the bacon and onion gives them such an unique taste! The only different is that I use an iron fry pan and cook them on top of stove.I will try the microwave this sunday.

The cast pan is probably a better health choice, joyce, although sometimes it's difficult to overlook the value of our microwaves. Enjoy! Thanks for your 5.
