Sauteed Green Beans with Bacon

                    - 1 3/4 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed shopping list
- 1/4 cup water shopping list
- 8 bacon slices, chopped shopping list
- 5 green onions, chopped (white and light green parts only) shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper shopping list
How to make it 
                    - Place beans and 1/4 cup water in microwave safe bowl.
- Cover with plastic wrap and pierce wrap with fork.
- Microwave on HIGH 4 to 7 minutes or until crisp-tender.
- Plunge beans into ice water to stop cooking process.
- Drain well and set aside.
- Cook chopped bacon in large nonstick skillet over medium heat until crisp.
- Remove bacon to paper towels to drain, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings.
- Wipe skillet clean with paper towels.
- Saute green onions in reserved drippings over medium high heat for 1 minute.
- Stir in beans, salt and pepper.
- Saute 2 to 3 minutes until thoroughly heated.
- Stir in bacon.
