Ingredients

How to make it

  • Put sauce ingredients in nonstick skillet and heat until the sugar has dissolved
  • Add salmon to pan (skin-side down, if there is skin)
  • Cover and turn heat to low - cook 5 minutes
  • Turn fish over and cover - cook an additional 5 minutes
  • Serve over rice ( I like Jasmine rice myself) with green onions on top
  • First thing I do is start the rice and it cooks while I prepare the Salmon.
  • 15 minutes start to finish and you have a wonderful meal. You can't beat a supper like that!

Can't get salmon here all t he time. It happens now and then and I always grab a chunk when I find it. Next time I get some I'll do this or your other salmon dish. Can't get mirin here either but I make some up using drinking sake and then use the rest for its intended purpose. Thanks for the 5 post.
