From lmgluvscats 15 years agoIngredients
- *1 pkg butter recipe cake mix shopping list
- * 4 eggs shopping list
- * 1 cup mashed ripe bananas shopping list
- * 3/4 cup oil shopping list
- * 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- * 1/4 cup milk shopping list
- * 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- * 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts shopping list
- * frosting shopping list
- * 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts shopping list
- * 1/4 cup butter shopping list
- * 1 can chocolate frosting shopping list
How to make it
- Combine cake mix, eggs, bananas, oil, sugar, milk and vanilla. Beat at low speed for 30 seconds. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Stir in 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Bake at 350 degrees in 2- 9 inch greased and floured layer pans for 33-38 minutes. While cake is baking, place 1 cup chopped nuts and butter in skillet. Cook on medium heat, stirring until nuts are toasted. Stir into frosting. Cool. Frost cake.
- Note: I haven't made this yet...but I think I'd make it in a 9"x13" pan and frost with cream cheese frosting....that would be my preference. (baking time would vary, of course) Sounds so delicious!!
