Garbage Melts

I came up with these english muffin sandwiches one day when I was hungry for lunch and was trying to use up leftovers in the fridge. Tada - the Garbage Melt was born! It is cheesy, slightly spicy, tangy & has bacon - you can never go wrong with bacon! Read more ! See less
Ingredients
- 1 english muffin, split shopping list
- 2 slices of pineapple shopping list
- 2 heaping tbs mayonnaise shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped green peppers shopping list
- 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1/8 tsp chili powder (optional) shopping list
- 2 pinches pepper shopping list
- 1/4 tsp sesame seeds shopping list
- 4-6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- On a cookie sheet place english muffin halves and top each halve with a slice of pineapple.
- In a small bowl combine mayonnaise, green peppers, cheese, and chili powder.
- Spoon mixture evenly onto muffin halves and then sprinkle on the pepper and sesame seeds. Cover each halve with crumbled bacon.
- Place in preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
