Peanut Butter Cup Lovers Cake

- 10-6 oz. peanut butter cups shopping list
- 1 cup peanut butter, creamy shopping list
- 1 1/2 sticks butter, softened shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 2 tsp. baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- frosting shopping list
- 1/2 pkg. semisweet chocolate chip(6 oz.) shopping list
- 1 1/3 cup peanut butter, creamy shopping list
- 1 stick butter, softened shopping list
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar, sifted shopping list
- Chopped peanuts to garnish shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350
- Freeze peanut butter cups
- In mixing bowl, cream peanut butter and butter
- Gradually add sugars, beating until light and fluffy
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating until well blended
- In mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt
- Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture, mixing until well blended after each addition
- Coarsely chop peanut butter cups
- Fold into batter
- Pour into greased 13x9 baking pan
- Bake 55-60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
- Cool on rack
- Spread frosting over cake
- Sprinkle with peanuts
- Frosting
- Melt chocolate in top of double boiler
- In mixing bowl, combine rest of ingredients and beat until smooth
- Add chocolate and beat until smooth
- Chill until spread consistency
