Stuffed Baked Apples

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup maple syrup shopping list
- 2 Tbs bourbon or whiskey{OPT.} shopping list
- 6 large baking apples about 10 oz. each (i prefer Rome} shopping list
- 1/3 cup apple juice shopping list
- 20 gingersnaps shopping list
- (cookies} shopping list
- About 6 0z. coarsely crushed{About 1 cu[} shopping list
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar shopping list
- 1/3 cup chopped pecan shopping list
- 3 tbs. butter or margirine cut into slices[6} shopping list
- vanilla ice ream {OPT>} shopping list
How to make it
- PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees
- Coat 13x9 pan or baking dish with cooking spray
- Combines syrup with bourbon set aside
- With knife cut core from each apple be careful and leave bottom intact.
- Brush inside each apple with 1 Tbs, reserved syrup mixture
- Stand apples in Baking dish.combined remaining syrup mixture with apple juice.Pour into baking dish.
- In bowl combined crushed cookies suga and pecans spooon mixture itno each center of apples top with slice of butter
- cover loosley with foil
- Bake 30 inutes
- remove foil bake another 10-15 minutes or till apples are tender
- MAy serve with ice cream or reg. cream poured over apples
