This dressing is served at a local restaurant over a delightful green salad that is garnished with several large shrimp. They shared the recipe with our weekly paper.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 C real mayonnaise
  • 1/2 C sour cream
  • 2 T fresh chives or green onion
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 T milk
  • 1 t dill weed

Directions
  1. Finely chop chives or green onion
  2. Peel & seed cucumber
  3. Finely chop cucumber to measure 3/4 cup
  4. Whisk mayonnaise, sour cream & chives or onion
  5. Add cucumber
  6. Stir in milk if needed to thin mixture
  7. Add dill to taste
  8. Chill
  9. Serve over fresh green salad or use as shrimp dip
