Tinks -Crunchy Layered Beef and Bean Salad

- 1- pound ground beef or ground turkey shopping list
- 2- cans ( 15 to 19 ounces) black beans or pinto beans rinsed and drained....... or 1 can of each whatever your pleasure is.............i do it both ways ...... shopping list
- 1- can ( 14.5 ounces) stewed tomatoes.....undrained shopping list
- 1 small can chopped green chiles drained shopping list
- 1- 1/1/2 cups frenchs french fried onions divided........i use extra of these i love them ........ shopping list
- 1- package taco seasoning any brand...... shopping list
- 6- cups shredded lettuce shopping list
- 3/4 cup cheddar cheese shopping list
- 3/4 cup pepper jack cheese .......or just monterey jack cheese ....... shopping list
- 2 - avocados sliced or chopped smaller your choice...... shopping list
How to make it
- in a large non-stick skillet, cook beef or turkey until thoroughly browned.........drain well.............................
- stir in beans, tomatoes...2/3 cups of frenchs fried onions, and taco seasoning...................and chiles ............
- heat to boiling ............
- cook over medium heat 5 minutes, stirring occasionally...........
- spoon beef mixture over lettuce on a serving platter top with cheese s
- microwave remaining fried onions for 1 minute on high and sprinkle over salad add avocado around salad and serve
- makes 6 servings

- i like salsa on mine too...........but you dont have to use anything i just like it that way............
