Crisp Dilly Beans

- 2 pounds green beans ; fresh shopping list
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes shopping list
- 4 cloves garlic shopping list
- 4 heads fresh dill shopping list
- 2 cups water shopping list
- 1/4 cup pickling salt shopping list
- 2 cups cider vinegar shopping list
How to make it
- Wash and stem beans but leave whole; pack beans uniformly into 4 sterilized hot pint jars.
- To each pint, add 1/4 teaspoon red pepper, 1 clove garlic and 1 head dill.
- Combine water, salt and vinegar in a saucepan.
- Bring to a rolling boil, pour over beans, filling to within 1/4 inch of jar top.
- Wipe jar rim, adjust lids.
- Process in boiling water bath 5 minutes. Start to count processing time when water in canner returns to full boil.
- Remove from water and let cool.
- Makes 4 pints.

Love these so much, but them in my bloody mary's!!! They are the best garnish for the drink....well, you can add a pickled shrimp in there too.
