How to make it

  • Combine flour, sugar, pineapple, soda and eggs and bake in 9x13-inch pan at 350 F until cake is done (test by toothpick).
  • When cake is almost done, combine evaporated milk, coconut, pecans, cherries, sugar and margarine and bring to a boil stirring constantly.
  • Pour mixture over hot cake.
  • Serve warm.

    This is a very moist cake...being cajun myself..this a trade-make cake for me at church and pot-luck suppers.
