Cajun Cake

- 2 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups sugar shopping list
- 1 20-ounce can crushed pineapple shopping list
- 2 teaspoons baking soda shopping list
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten shopping list
- 1 cup evaporated milk shopping list
- 2 cups flaked sweetened coconut shopping list
- 2 cups chopped pecans shopping list
- 1 cup drained, chopped maraschino cherries shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups sugar shopping list
- 2 sticks margarine shopping list
How to make it
- Combine flour, sugar, pineapple, soda and eggs and bake in 9x13-inch pan at 350 F until cake is done (test by toothpick).
- When cake is almost done, combine evaporated milk, coconut, pecans, cherries, sugar and margarine and bring to a boil stirring constantly.
- Pour mixture over hot cake.
- Serve warm.
