Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup half and half (or milk)
  • 3 cups sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions
  1. Melt the butter; add the brown sugar and cook over low heat two minutes, stirring constantly. Add the milk and continue stirring until mixture comes to a boil and cook for about a minute. Add confectioner's sugar and keep mixing until the frosting is of a spreading consistency.
  2. Poor over cooled cake immediately. Let it sit and cool completely before serving.

This sounds over-the-top!! Krumkake puts it on sugar cookies, and plan on making the leftover cookie dough in the freezer into football shapes for the BIG GAME. Anybody know a crafty trick to a football cookiecutter??
