Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Beat butter and cream cheese until blended
  • Gradually add flour, beating until blended
  • Cover and chill 1 hour
  • In mixing bowl, add sugar, cinnamon, pecans,raisins and combine
  • Divide dough in half
  • On lightly floured board, roll each half into a 14 inch circle
  • Sprinkle each circle with sugar mixture
  • Cut each circle into 12 pizza like wedges
  • Roll up each wedge beginning at wide end
  • Put on ungreased baking sheet, point side down
  • Bake 15-18 minutes or until golden brown

    Luv these cookies. Helped my Hungarian grandma make them growing up. My fave is chopped walnuts, cinnamon and raisins. The chocolate are wonderful too. Thanks for the memories :)

    I love rugelach, yes I do. I like to spread the dough with apricot jam and fill with chocolate, pecans, raisins (all chopped, of course)and cinnamon. They get inhaled around here.
