Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • in a 9 x 13 ungreased pan
  • Dump the can of pineapples with juice and spread
  • Spread the pie filling over the pineapple
  • Spread the cake mix (do not mix just use the dry cake mix) over the filling
  • Sprinkle walnuts over the cake mix
  • Put the pats over the top
  • Bake 1 hour
  • Cool
  • Spoon mixture into bowls with Cool Whip or Ice Cream
  • Note: Use your imagination with the filling and cake mix

    I grew up with my Grandmother making this recipe! now I make it for my husband and kids. They love it. I know I have a recipe for Pumpkin dump cake somewhere. I will try to find it and post it!

    Heard of it but never tried it because of the cake mixes. I like stuff from scratch but you are convincing me to try it.
