Dump Cake Recipe

	Jlv1023 / All my dishes 5 months, 2 weeks ago Found this in a few cookbooks and had to try it. Being from the East Coast, I never heard of this before but seems to be more of a Mid-West recipe. Surprisingly easy and moist. Great with Cool Whip or Ice Cream Very versitile too Prep:10m Cook:60m Servings:12	Jlv1023

Ingredients

1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple with juice

2 cans of cherry or any flavor of pie filling

1 box yellow cake mix

1-1/2 cup chopped walnuts

2 sticks butter cut up into pats

Directions

Preheat oven to 350

in a 9 x 13 ungreased pan

Dump the can of pineapples with juice and spread

Spread the pie filling over the pineapple

Spread the cake mix (do not mix just use the dry cake mix) over the filling

Sprinkle walnuts over the cake mix

Put the pats over the top

Bake 1 hour

Cool

Spoon mixture into bowls with Cool Whip or Ice Cream

Note: Use your imagination with the filling and cake mix

I grew up with my Grandmother making this recipe! now I make it for my husband and kids. They love it. I know I have a recipe for Pumpkin dump cake somewhere. I will try to find it and post it!
