Ingredients

The Dogs

--------------

12 Hot Dogs of your choosing

12 Dog Buns of your choosing

The Sauce

1lb fine steak mince (the finer chopped the better)

4 medium sized white onions - chopped

4 Tbsp English or Dijon Mustard (depending on taste)

3 tsp sugar

2 tsp apple cider or apple vinegar

2 medium heat chillies - finely chopped (more if you like it hot)

1 cup of Tomato Ketchup

a pinch or two of salt

Directions

Put into a large pan. Mix in enough boiled water to cover and a little more besides for expansion.

You are looking to make a thick mix. Stir until smooth.

Add the remaining ingredients.

Cook pretty slowly for 1 hour. You can thin it out with water or beer.

Prepare the dogs in the usual way

Pour over that sauce and Mmmmn!
