California Ruben

I first had this from a guy who came up to my office in Glendale, Ca with a cooler full of deli sandwiches. He'd take requests from me because he'd run out of this one. Not really sure what it was called, but they call it California Ruben here in Michigan
Ingredients
- 3 - 6 slices oven roasted sliced deli turkey (This is important for the best flavor). shopping list
- 1-2 slices swiss cheese or smoky provalone (or both) shopping list
- 1/4 c. creamy coleslaw (your homemade recipe is perfect) shopping list
- 2 slices of marbled rye bread shopping list
How to make it
- Layer cheese and turkey on one slice of marble rye bread
- Spread with coleslaw
- Top with other slice of bread
- Cut in half and serve with a fat dill pickle and kettle chips.
