CALIFORNIA BREAD PUDDING

- 2- c.up- milk shopping list
- 2 -c.up- heavy cream shopping list
- 1 1/2 -cup-. sugar shopping list
- 6 -tbsp. melted butter shopping list
- 2- whole eggs shopping list
- 2 -egg yolks shopping list
- 1 -cup. raisins shopping list
- 1 -c.up shredded coconut shopping list
- 1- cup. broken pecans shopping list
- 2- tbsp. vanilla shopping list
- 1- tsp. cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 -tsp. nutmeg shopping list

- lemon SAUCE: .............. shopping list
- 6- tbsp. unsalted butter shopping list
- 4 -tbsp. sugar shopping list
- 1/4 -cup-. fresh lemon juice shopping list
- Grated rind of 1 lg. lemon shopping list
- 2 -beaten egg yolks shopping list
- 1 --tbsp. vanilla .........or 6 tbsp. rum ....yum lol shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In large bowl, combine all ingredients; blend well.
- Mixture will be very moist.
- Pour into 9x13 inch or larger shallow baking dish. Bake for 1 hour or until set.
- Serve warm with lemon sauce.

- Lemon Sauce:
- In a saucepan, combine butter and sugar.
- Cook over low heat until well blended.
- Stir in lemon juice and rind.
- Pour some of butter mixture into the yolks and whisk to blend.
- Pour this mixture back into pan. Whisk over low heat until slightly thickened.
- Stir in vanilla or rum
- servings 8-10

Tink, this looks wonderful and so figure friendly, NOT Love bread pudding and I bet this one really is delish!!
