A great burger, simple yet so satisfying for grilled delights and meat eaters ( turkey burgers too! )

Ingredients
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 buns
  • 8 strips bacon
  • sauce:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbs Dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbs white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp chipolte pepper or hot sauce

Directions
  1. Mix meat, cheese, salt and pepper
  2. Form into 4 equal patties, 3/4 inch thick
  3. Wrap each pattie with 2, side by side bacon strips
  4. Grill 3 to 4 mins on each side or cooked
  5. Near serving, toast bun, spread with sauce and add hamburgers
  6. Sauce can be made ahead of time and refrigerated
