HAWAIIAN CHILI

This dish puts a mild sweet spin on a savory favorite
Ingredients
- 1 whole clove of garlic chopped shopping list
- 1 bottle of beer shopping list
- 1 can of tomatoes (large can) shopping list
- 2 large sweet vidalia onions (chopped fine) shopping list
- 3 bell peppers chopped fine shopping list
- 1 pineapple chopped finely shopping list
- 3 skinless chicken breasts (I also substitute pork loin) shopping list
- 1 can white kidney beans shopping list
- 2 large carrots chopped fine shopping list
- 3 stalks of celery chopped fine shopping list
- 2 jalapeno peppers chopped shopping list
- 2 tablespoons of cumin shopping list
- chili powder to taste shopping list
- 1/2 cup of soy sauce shopping list
- 1/4 cup of finely grated ginger root (fresh only) shopping list
- Lots of chopped basil shopping list
- 1 cup of honey shopping list
- water don't use stock ...I found that it doesn't add nor take away from the flavor so just use old fashioned water (just enough to cover) shopping list
How to make it
- Put in a large pot in no particular order and simmer all day. Serve with Colby cheese or sour cream. This chili freezes great and becomes more mild the second day.

Sounds great with the pineapple. Very different, I'm sure I would love it but not sure about my hubby. He's not a big fan of pineapple; Personally I love it, goes great with lots of stuff.
