Absolute Mexican Cornbread

- 1 c butter,melted shopping list
- 1 c sugar shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 1 (15 oz) can cream-style corn shopping list
- 1/2 (4oz) can chopped green chile peppers,drained shopping list
- 1/2 c shredded Monteray Jack cheese shopping list
- 1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1 c flour shopping list
- 1 c yellow cornmeal shopping list
- 4 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Lightly grease 9x13" baking dish.
- In a llarge bowl,beat together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time. Blend in cream,corn,chiles,Monteray Jack and Cheddar cheeses.
- In seperate bowl,stir together flour,cornmeal,baking powder and salt.
- Add flour mixture to corn mixture;stir till smooth. Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour,until toothpick inserted into center of pan comes out clean. Enjoy!
